New Friends In Manchester

The friends I've known for years have always been up for a night out on the town on a weekend but when it came to anything more active, I had no-one in my group of friends to join me. Since I joined Social Circle, I've enjoyed numerous activities and as most of my friends had moved away, it was great to meet some new friends in Manchester in the process.

Living in Manchester, it can be all too tempting to rest on your laurels and lean on what's accessible, especially as there is so much to do right here on our doorstep. But after a while, I needed more than just a few drinks on the odd weekend. With Social Circle, I can do so much more, as there are not only social events but a diverse range of adventure activities, too.

Additional Benefits

I love meeting people and while that is certainly the best thing about Social Circle, the extra benefits that you get from membership are truly amazing. I've received an aqua detox, a manicure, and a neck and shoulder massage all completely free. And, to be honest, my membership was already excellent value without all of those additional benefits.

I Had Such A Great Time

I took part in the BUPA Fun Run and while I had never ran that distance beforehand, I had such a great time. There was a fab atmosphere on the day and it was even more fun running alongside other members of Social Circle. And thanks to my generous friends and family, I raised a decent amount of cash for a good cause.

Charity Ceilidh Night

I love a good dance and the fact that it was for charity helped make my decision an easy one to attend the Charity Ceilidh Night. I had never tried this dance before but obviously it wasn't Strictly Come Dancing so even I didn't look out of place. One of my friends won a beauty product and we all had a great time.

So Many Great Movies With Social Circle

I've seen so many great movies with Social Circle that I probably otherwise wouldn't have gotten around to. My friends have a very different taste in movies than me and don't go to the cinema often as it is. So it's great to get a chance to meet some like-minded people. The only downside is that I've put on a few extra pounds from all of the popcorn I've been eating :)

York Minste Cultural Experience

I had always wanted to visit York but it was just one of those places I had never gotten around to visiting. When I saw Social Circle were organising a day there, I had no excuses. I had a wonderful day, visiting such monuments as York Minster. Don't get me wrong, I still love a drink or two on a Friday night, but I love the odd cultural experience, too.

New Manchester Friends

I knew that Manchester nightlife was legendary but I didn't really know how to get involved. I didn't know my colleagues that well and they tended to go their separate ways after work. I heard about Social Circle and after looking at the website, booked on to a salsa night. I had so much fun and now I go every week, having made loads of new Manchester friends in the process.
