Social Circle brings together people just like you looking to meet others in Manchester to share fun activities and experiences. Your friendly host will personally welcome you to ease any nerves and text you on the day. Don't worry if you're coming on your own - so is everyone else!

Calling all walkers: How would you like to explore some of the best walking routes in the Manchester area and meet new people at the same time?

If you live and work in Manchester, then you may have heard that breathtaking countryside and beauty spots can be found within easy reach of the city centre. Come walking with Social Circle to explore some of the best walking routes in the area , and meet some new people along the way.

The Route:

A walk exploring the footpaths and bridleways between Marple Brindge and Mellor. With spectacular views across Manchester and Cheshire we’ll also take in the sights of the Roman lakes & Roman bridge along with Mellor Cross.
Well Finnish off the walk with a pint and some food in a good local pub
Walk length 8 miles, 3 hours

 

Kit list: hat, gloves, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, walking trousers walking boots as may be slippy tea flask.
