Do you find yourself skipping the gym once too often? Do you want to meet new people whilst you get fit doing something totally fun?

Going to the gym time and time again gets repetitive, and one thing exercise shouldn’t be is dull. Dedicating your free time to fitness is tough enough without the super-boring workouts.

Here at Social Circle we value health and fitness - after all it’s the cornerstone to a sense of wellbeing, confidence and a long happy life.

Our great variety of classes and sports activities provides something for all. Come along and explore what healthy living means to you, try new activities, and meet some new friends along the way. For men and women, of all sizes and all levels of fitness welcome.

After those long days at the office (or home) when everything has tried your patience and you’re ready to scream, grab your kit bag and come join your friends at (name) and we guarantee you will feel amazing for days afterwards. If you want that post exercise glow to last even longer - just know that this class is completely free of charge for members.

Cycle ride to the source of the River Mersey and beyond...

A 3 hour cycle ride starting at Parrswood along the Transpennine trail by the river Mersey to Stockport and beyond. Probably turning round at Haughton Dale, or maybe a bit further depending how things go.

95% off road so mountain bikes preferred but not essential, ice-cream or coffee stop as appropriate.

If you are arriving to the start-point by public transport remember no bicycles on the metro, but the Didsbury railway station is nearby.

What our members say:

I had never tried badminton, but another member twisted my arm. I can’t say I am any good but I found I wasn’t the only nervous newbie. It is tremendously good fun and we have a good laugh. Debbie.

Boxercise lived up to the Hype. My arms hurt for days but my colleagues are already pointing out my new muscles. John

All we ask is that you make sure you are wearing suitable footwear and clothing.
