Starting in the quaint little village of Litton, this beautiful walk includes great open views with some sections through woodland and a riverside path. We will pass through the drystone walls of Tansley Dale towards Cressbrook, move up gradually while enjoying magnificent views from the Headstone Viaduct and Monsal Head, afterwards head down a stretch of the River Wye, on to Miller's Dale and back to Litton.Â
After the walk we will go for drinks and a well deserved lunch at a lovely little pub.Â
Kit list: hat, gloves, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, walking trousers walking boots as may be slippy tea flask.
