As well as his poetry, Simon has written warmly and humorously on his life and experiences and his latest book, ‘Walking Home’, a Sunday Times bestseller, is a treasure trove of wit, observation and delights in the landscape which will thrill anyone who has ever gone for a long walk! He has won numerous awards and was the official millennium poet. Simon will read from a selection of his extensive work, including ‘ Walking Home’ and answer questions from the audience. A bit of Northern Brass music will add another dimension to what will be a superb evening.
