A fantastic night of folk fiddle featuring the brilliant Manchester artist Emma Sweeney touring on the back of her debut album Pangea.
"Swinging and swooping like a golden eagle that’s set its sight on a white-mountain hare Emma Sweeney’s fiddle style is a joy to listen to." UK Folk Music Magazine
Emma was introduced to Irish music aged seven, taking tin whistle classes under Sligo’s Marian Eagan. At ten years of age she progressed onto the fiddle, taught by Colin Farrell and later, Andy Dinan. Her potential flourished further under the mentorship of Mike McGoldrick, who encouraged and tutored her in whistle and fiddle.
