Featuring some of the best up-and-coming Northern talent performing alongside more established big-name artists from across the country. With the incredible mix of outstanding live-music, entertainment and location, BEACHED is shaping up to become the city's most popular summer attraction of 2011.
The event offers a unique festival experience, occurring solely within an urban environment - Castlefield's "Castle Sands" beach. BEACHED takes it's inspiration from D'Percussion - which had its final year in 2007 and was attended by more than 50,000 people -and aims to fill the void it left behind. Beached Festival 2011 is a full day of live music featuring two live stages and a large dance tent. Set on a manufactured beach in the scenic area of Castlefield in Manchester City Centre. It has a bar, food stalls, and even deck chairs and overlooks the Manchester Canal.
