Probably the most popular walk in the Peak District this route from Mam Tor takes us across the spectacular ridge overlooking the Hope valley to Lose Hill, then descending through farmland towards Castleton for a pint (not food). After our visit to the pub we then join the Limestone Way and through Cave Dale past the remains of Peveril Castle and a gentle walk through green fields back to the cars.
