Shine Manchester Walkathon

Ever wanted to take part in a charity event (bike ride, run, walk), but didn’t enter because you were scared to do it alone? This year use Social Circle to find mates and enjoy one of the great 2012 challenges together. SHINE MANCHESTER WALKATHON

Shine Manchester is an evening walkathon in aid of Cancer Research UK. Starting in Old Trafford at 8:30pm, you can choose to walk a full  marathon (26.2 miles) or a half marathon (13.1 miles) past some iconic landmarks of Manchester city centre. You can also select how you would like the money you raise to be used—either to support research on one of 12 prevalent forms of cancer, or to support Cancer Research UK’s wider groundbreaking work against the disease.
