Greenfield Reservoir & Raven Stones from Dovestone
Distance: 8 miles, 4 hours walking
Ascent: 1,800m
Grade: moderate, scrambling included
A pleasant walk following good paths. The rewards are good views across the northern sectors of the Peak District National Park. Note that there is one very steep but short scramble on grass.
Kit list: hat, gloves, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, walking trousers (not jeans!), walking boots, packed lunch, tea flask.
