A 4 to 5 hour walk depending upon pace, covering approximately 8 miles.
Walk heads below Kinderlow End to Edale Cross, towards Edale Rocks, and up onto Kinder Low before meeting the Pennine Way. The ridge is followed to Kinder Downfall where the stream is crossed before turning towards Sandy Heys. There is the option to drop off the ridge directly towards Kinder Reservoir or continue to the end of the ridge and turn down Williams Clough to the Reservoir. From the dam the walk follows the lane back to the car park - and the nearby Sportsman public house!!'
Rob your host will text you on the day telling you where he is and what he's wearing so you'll have him number just in case you're running late or want him to meet you first.
Kit list: fleece, hat, gloves (it may be windy on the ridge), waterproof jacket, walking boots, walking trousers (not jeans!), water bottle/flask, packed lunch
