Skiing in Bulgaria - Borovets

Borovets is a long established ski resort situated in the atmospheric pine forests of the Rila mountains. It is very popular with British guests who enjoy the good value and fun environment as well as the colourful local traditions that make skiing here a little more unique!The popular Hotel Iglika occupies a central location and ensures quick access to the ski lifts, 120 metres away. Following expansion the Iglika offers more superior rooms and a new restaurant and lifts for Winter 2007/8. Also available are the Iglika’s cosy wooden villas, scenically set amidst trees behind the hotel. Offered on self catering basis, villas guests have use of the hotel facilities. The Hotel Iglika offers skiers a most convenient location in the centre of the resort and quick access to the pistes. The ski school meeting place and nearest lifts are a short 150 metre walk away.
