Funzing Talks is a new concept which aims to re-invent your after work drinks. We've pulled together an impressive array of leading entrepreneurs, intellectuals, bright thinkers and incredible individuals to inspire your evenings.

Held in a hand picked range of bars across Manchester, a Funzing Talks event makes the perfect after work activity.

Delve into a totally new subject and challenge your perspectives over a beer with like-minded Mancunians. Funzing has always encouraged you to do something different with your free time, so we say do just that - you never know where it may lead you!

Now that physicists have directly observed gravitational waves, ripples through spacetime itself, the last bit of Einstein’s theory, you could be mistake to think there wasn't much left to explore. But you're wrong, there’s still more fun to be had!

What happens if you jump into a black hole? How big are the biggest objects in the universe? If the universe is expanding, why can you never find a parking space? Why are people obsessed with Ancient Aliens in Antarctica? Astrophysicist and I Fucking Love Science writer - Alfredo Carpineti explores all the unasnwered questions with some light hearted humour and provides surprising answers to your curious cosmic conundrums. There may be no such thing as a stupid question, but luckily there are plenty of weird ones!

I love the guided walking tours - I've learnt so much about Manchester!
