Manchester is often described as the first city of the industrial revolution. Now there’s an opportunity to experience the heritage, history and culture of the city for yourself with a walking tour of the city centre led by a Blue Badge Tourist Guide.

The Britannia Hotel (the city’s most spectacular cotton warehouse), Chinatown, Art Gallery & Athenaeum, Central Library, Midland Hotel, the site of the Peterloo Massacre, Free Trade Hall, John Rylands Library, Abraham Lincoln Statue, The ‘Hidden Gem’ Church, Manchester Town Hall.
