Burns Nightish Whisky Tasting at The Whisky Lounge

If you were to say Robert Burns’ birthday is just an excuse for us to break out the good stuff, we would say ‘No, no, no, no!’...and then we might soften a little and say, ‘well...maybe’.

The truth be told, is somewhere in-between, with a respectful nod to the Bard but with the emphasis very much on the whisky aspect of the evening. Funny that with a company name like ours... What you can be sure of is that we will be bringing some of our favourite drams and you can be sure we only drink the good stuff... We're also including an authentic and tasty half time supper of Haggis, neeps and tatties. This tasting features 6 whiskies and as usual you won't be tasting these whiskies alone, you'll be in the company of fellow whisky folk and of course one of our whisky experts, who will be on hand to entertain and enlighten you in the ways of the dram. The Britons Protection is our favourite pub in Manchester. A hearty combination of a fantastic range of real ales on pump and in bottle to try before or after your tasting, homemade food and lovely staff.
