See international DJ SIGALA and a dazzling set of performers, topped off by a huge ten minute firework display at the annual outdoor party that officially opens the festive season.

Joining DJ SIGALA will be:

  • Tokio Myers - the multi-instrumentalist winner of Britain’s Got Talent
  • Up and coming boy band Yes Lad
  • The cast of the hit-comedy stage show ELF: The Musical playing at The Lowry
  • Everyone’s favourite ogre Shrek ahead of his appearance at The Palace Theatre, along with co-star Princess Fiona
  • Street Dance from The Dancehouse showing some of their best moves
  • The cast of Little Women at the Hope Mill Theatre in Ancoats, who are bound to melt our hearts before the show even begins with their Christmas renditions.

Key 103’s breakfast host Mike Toolan will compere the show with the help of Matt Haslam and Corrie's Brooke Vincent.

As always the event is completely free, but once Albert Square reaches capacity access into the area will be restricted.

Please don’t bring any bags if you can help it. There will be security checks and bags may delay you getting to the show.

The Manchester Christmas Light Switch-on is in partnership between us and Key 103.

These are the kind of events that Social Circle does best - always fun, great people.
