Called Strife In A Northern Town, it’s a tale of the many inhabitants of an unnamed Northern town (all played by just two actors) whose seemingly unconnected stories weave together in the light of dodgy council shenanigans. It will be lots of fun. It's fast paced, silly in places, dark in places, sad in places and has lots of heart too. The script has recently been submitted to a new writing scheme by Hat Trick productions – makers of Father Ted, Drop the Dead Donkey and Whose Line Is It Anyway – and they like it! So it’s now through the second round of the scheme – and could eventually be made into a taster tape for broadcasters. So book tickets now and you can say you saw it before it was on the telly!
