A 7 mile walk to showcase the great walking on your doorstep.
This circular walk from Marple which passes through Etherow Country park and takes in the countryside around the ominously named Hackingknife before heading back along the canal back into Marple. If the weather allows expect great views over East Manchester and parts of Derbyshire. Please meet at the usual meet of Tesco, East Didsbury at 10:00 to drive over to Marple. The car parking in Marple Train station is free. A table will be booked at a local establishment for refreshments post walk.
