Join us at Delamere Forest, its an ideal place to go for a leisurely Sunday walk. There are dry sandstone paths, lots of mature trees to shade or shelter under depending on the weather and Blakemere Moss, a lake ideal for bird watchers.
Starting at the Visitor Centre and Car Park we will be following the Blakemere Trail on a nice and steady easy circular 5 mile walk through mostly flat woodlands on designated tracks for walkers.
After the walk join us at the Fishpool Inn for a well deserved traditioanl Sunday lunch at a cosy, characterful inn dating back to the 18th century. The latest addition to the family-owned, Cheshire based hotel group Nelson Hotels, and underwent a dramatic and sympathetic twelve month multi-million pound renovation before re-opening in February 2013.
Just 30 minutes a day of walking will improve your health and wellbeing. By becoming more active you will have a great sense of achievement, more energy, sleep better and reduce your stress levels.
