This is our original Northern Quarter taster tour, centred on the area East of Newton Street, and our most popular route. It looks at the district's history, from its historic markets, shops and rag traders to its cultural regeneration, highlights and attitude of today.
You'll discover the history of Afflecks Palace and the Arndale, the curry cafes and the area's standout public art, and walk in the footsteps of some of Manchester's most famous names.
Ticket price includes a bottle of water, distributed on arrival, and all food and guiding. Other drinks not included. £30 per person. Approximately two to three hours duration.
