Do you ever wonder why your photos are never quite what you felt like you saw in front of you? Or why that selfie should be binned and never shown to anyone .. ever again?

Good photography is about satisfying our brains perception of the scene in front of you. A few simple tricks and rules can turn a 2 out of 10 into a 6 or 7.. and yes you can achieve them all!

What do you need? Bring your phones or your digital cameras! Don't bring your film cameras though as we will be all about immediate feedback as we scour our hosts house in search of The Perfect Photo! Do bring a sense of humour and ability to have your photographs critiqued! In fact, if you'd like critique on any photos, bring those along too and gain some insights into improvements.

Phil Drinkwater will be leading the night. He's been photographing weddings, fashion, landscape & travel mainly for the last 15 years and was awarded national photographer of the year by the Guild of Photographers about 5 years ago. He can't be bothered to enter any more competitions though as they take too much time away from just enjoying photography.
