The Greater Manchester Fringe first took place in 2012 with 6 different venues and a handful of shows in each.

Now in it's 5th year they have 23 venues across Greater Manchester participating and hundreds of performances taking place.

Shakespeare's greatest tragedy, King Lear, is brought to life by award winning PurpleCoat Productions, supported by Stephen Fry and the RSC. An immersive theatrical experience brings this classic story of age, greed and power to life following a UK wide tour. An unmissable theatrical experience with praise from Judi Dench and Kenneth Brannagh.

I really look forward to the New Years Eve party and St Patricks Day.
