Their guides will educate and entertain you on your journey around their fascinating brewery. They’ll be delighted to answer any questions you have about the brewing process. The Brewery Tour takes about one hour and includes three 1/3 pint samples of our beers. If you really are an ale aficionado, you can buy a ‘golden ticket’, which not only includes the Tour, but also your choice from one of four gift sets, plus two pints (or six 1/3 pints) of our delicious beers at our Unicorn Bar.

Their Visit England accredited Visitors Centre reveals the secrets behind their award-winning brewing process. It also gives you insights into original and new equipment. Submerge yourself in almost 180 years of brewing excellence and discover the heritage of this proudly independent family brewery. As you journey through the brew house, you’ll learn:

What makes their hopnik and cereal cooker so special and why it’s so important in brewing award winning beer
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet Hopnik and Wizard, their fabulous Shire horses…use their interactive screens…buy beer-related gifts from their shop…and discover some real vintage gems showing how things have changed since 1838. You can even round off your visit with a delicious homemade lunch.
A tour will typically take between 60 - 75 minutes, followed by beer sampling.
