Served in an impressive Italian renaissance building dating back to 1872, afternoon tea at King Street Townhouse offers a quintessentially British treat in historic surrounds. Indulge in a selection of sweet and savoury delights amidst designer fabrics, ambient lighting and an array of locally commissioned art.

The King Street afternoon tea menu begins with a selection of traditional finger sandwiches, including smoked salmon with dill and crème fraîche, Lancashire cheese with onion chutney, and beef with horseradish. Accompanied by your choice of tea, complete your experience with a range of sweet treats. Try the likes of cardamom panna cotta with raspberry jelly, lemon macaron, or chocolate delice with pistachio, as well as classic scones with jam and clotted cream.
