Have a posh day out at the races with some new Manchester friends as we enjoy the experience, a chance to get to know wach other, and who knows- maybe a little extra cash in our pockets on the way home? :)
Take your place and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon, with non-stop racing action along with family friendly Roman themed activities. Try and spot authentic legions placed around the Roodee, dressed to impress in Roman clothing and equipment.
There will be the opportunity to capture the day on camera as racegoers are invited to have their picture taken with the Romans so they can remember the day and take home a snapshot of the spectacle to friends and family.
The gates open at 12:30 with the first race to start at 13:45.
We will be meeting at Manchester Piccadilly train station at 11am and catching the 11:17 train to Chester which will get us there at 12:45. The cost of a return ticket is £12.70 at time of writing.
We will be purchasing our 'Open Course' tickets on the day (£12).
