This former railway hotel has transformed itself in recent years into an airy characterful building with restaurant, bar, library, TV lounge and -- the most recent addition -- an all-year-round al fresco bar with canopies and heaters. Enjoy good wine and beer with a lively, cosmopolitan crowd. In the ten years since the ‘Met’ first opened its doors, the pub has grown with the community, providing the well-travelled residents of the area with a ‘local’ comparable to anything in the country.
