Lovely Sunday Walk through Prt Shrigley
This walk is very varied. It has some hilly countryside and a section along a canal towpath. We’ll start in Bollington, so not too far to travel – although even then we need to start at 9:30 because it will be dark around 4:00. We will walk a loop which will take us just inside Lyme Park (via West Parkgate). It’ll be around 8 miles and half of it is very flat.
Naturally we’ll end up at a nice pub for a late lunch, and you can expect home baked cake too!
Think warm and waterproof and bring a change of shoes for the pub/car ride home.
