Social Circle Meals

Welcome to Manchester's Premium Social and Activity Network
I'd always been curious about many of the restaurants in Manchester as there seemed to be so much diversity here that I'd yet to sample. Since joining Social Circle, I've been to Armenia, Russian, and Greek restaurants, and can't wait to try more.

Eating out can be fun and a great way to sample foods you wouldn't otherwise get a chance to try. But getting your friends to agree on a time and place can be difficult with conflicting schedules and tastes. You can try out a variety of foods by choosing which restaurants you would like to visit from the Social Circle calendar. We have restaurants from all walks of life. You name it, we've been there: British, Indian, Mongolian, the list goes on. It's a great social occasion and the perfect chance to get to know some new Manchester friends.

Eat Curry, Make Friends

I love nothing more than a good curry on a night out and Social Circle always seems to know the best places. The curry mile is great but my favourite is Akbars in Castlefield. The service was impressive but the food was even more so. And their hanging nan bread was phenomenally tasty. As usual though, the jewel of the crown was the fantastic people I met from Social Circle.

Turkish Restaurant

I'd always fancied going to a Turkish restaurant in town. I heard the food was great and they have some great entertainment. But it seemed manly to be for larger groups and there was no way I was going to be able to get all my friends to come along on the same night. With Social Circle, it was a case of booking my place and everything was taken care of. And what a great night it was!

Variety Of Restaurants On The Events Calendar

I love a decent restaurant but all I ever seemed to go to was cheap and cheerful. With Social Circle having such a variety of restaurants on their events calendar, I was able to choose from a variety of restaurants and so thought I'd give Michael Caine's a try at Abode. The food was breathtaking and it was such a pleasurable experience.

Types Of Event

Evening meals

We regularly feature meals on Friday and Saturday nights where people can unwind from the working week, getting to meet new people in a relaxed environment, whilst at the same time having fun and getting into the spirit of Social Circle.

Sunday lunches

A Sunday lunch can really hit the right spot and we like to think we know the venues that serve up the finest meat and potatoes with all of the trimmings. We also regularly feature lunch on our Sunday walks.

Curry nights

A curry is great on a cold Winter's day (and let's face it, that's most days in Manchester). We pay frequent visits to the curry mile, as well as some of the curry restaurants in the city centre. No matter whether you like yours curry mild, medium, or spicy, you will meet some new friends on the night either way.
