A Taste of the West End
A night at the theatre can be an occasion to behold. And it's certainly intended to be an experience to share. Whether you enjoy serious drama, such as Shakespeare, or a musical such as Mamma Mia, there are new friends here at Social Circle here for you to match your tastes and interests. We are lucky in Manchester to have two of the finest theatres outside of London, in the Opera House and Palace Theatre to bring you some of the best shows in the world, such as Wicked and The Lion King.
Up front and personal
If you enjoy Manchestr theatre in a more intimate setting, we offer events at many of Manchester's smaller venues, such as 3MT theatre in the Northern Quarter. It's a great way to see local talent, as well as the stage stars of tomorrow. The Library theatre, HOME, and Hope Mills theatre are three of the more local venues that regularly host some amazing shows. Of course, there will be a chance to get to know each other over a drink during the interval, and at many more Social Circle events.
How about something interactive?
We often include murder mystery events on the calendar. Some are pure theatre with little involvement from you while others makes you very much part of the event so it depends on you. One of our regular murder mystery nights take place at The Ape & Apple in the city centre on the first two Thursdays of every month. It's improvisational comedy at its best and they even throw in pizza for good measure. All-in-all, it's a great night out to enjoy with some new Manchester friends.
So how does it work?
We know it’s a little unusual to turn up at an event knowing no one, so we don’t expect you to. Instead, we introduce you to the founders and then to the event host, who will to make sure you’re feeling excited and not too nervous.
