Social Circle Music

Welcome to Manchester's Premium Social and Activity Network

The energy of a live band or a full concert production can be a great relief to the stresses of the working week. Maybe you enjoy sitting in a pub with a live band showcasing local talent while getting to know some new people over a drink; we're in Manchester so live music is never too far away. But we also have some of the finest concert venues in the country regularly featuring some of the world's top performers. Manchester is a city that has long been passionate about music and its roots here are visible around every corner.

Halle Orchestra Bridgewater Hall

Seeing the Halle orchestra had always been a dream of mine. I don't know why I never took the opportunity to see them before as the Bridgewater Hall is right on my doorstep, but with Social Circle, there was really no excuse. Funny, I met someone from Social Circle on the night who said the exact same thing.

Local Bands, Fellow Music Lovers

I love supporting new, local bands and was pleased to see opportunities to do so with Social Circle. As is the case with any Social Circle event, you always end up meeting people with the same interests as you, so that was definitely a plus. I've become really good friends with fellow music lovers and it's all thanks to SC!

Matt and Phreds Jazz

Jazz is one of my passions in life but my friends are mainly into other types of music so while I've been to Matt and Phreds a number of times, it was either by myself or a friend I had to drag along. Going with Social Circle was a completely different experience with everyone appreciating the music and having a great time.

Types Of Event

Live bands

Our live music nights bring you the freshest mix of new and exciting artists that Manchester has to offer. Come and support local talent while sharing a drink or two with some new friends. It's the Manchester thing to do.

Live jazz

Matt and Phreds is the finest jazz club in the North and the only venue solely dedicated to live jazz talent. Its smoky atmosphere and fine wine makes for a great night. And its pizzas are famous for a reason. The talent comes from far and wide to attract visitors to the venue.

We're lucky in Manchester to feature some wonderful concert venues, such as the Manchester Arena and Manchester Apollo. Come and see your favourite artists perform on the big stage and meet some fellow fans at the same time. Listening to an album is one thing but the energy from a live performance is something else.
