How about a movie night in Manchester?

Our Manchester cinema nights offer the perfect blend of social and entertainment. That explains why it remains one of the more popular events on our calendar. We meet up at Didsbury cinema where we introduce you to your new Manchester friends and maybe enjoying a coffee before heading in to watch the movie of the week. We always ensure that we take in the latest blockbuster and even watch the occasional live theatre performance broadcast live to Cineworld.
 

What happens on the night?

It’s a pretty simple formula. We pick a movie, we meet beforehand, enjoy the latest blockbuster, and occasionally enjoy a drink or two afterwards. This isn’t a cinema night where you have to attend every week, you simply dip in and out of it depending on whether you like the look of the movie or not. And there are always new people to meet each week. It's one of our more popular meetups in Manchester.
 

How about something more cultural?

In terms of the movie, we’re not film snobs- we like superheroes as much as anyone. But that doesn’t mean we don’t like to taste the odd slice of culture every now and then, either. So whether you feel like leaving your brain at home or watching something more stimulating, there’s something for you
 

So how does it work?

We know it’s a little unusual to turn up at an event knowing no one, so we don’t expect you to. Instead, we introduce you to the founders and then to the event host, who will make sure you’re feeling excited and not too nervous.

So Many Great Movies With Social Circle

I've seen so many great movies with Social Circle that I probably otherwise wouldn't have gotten around to. My friends have a very different taste in movies than me and don't go to the cinema often as it is. So it's great to get a chance to meet some like-minded people. The only downside is that I've put on a few extra pounds from all of the popcorn I've been eating :)

Ticket Is Included With Membership

I attended the last Social Circle sports day and wow, what fun it was. It was a great mixture of sports, some I would have expected, like rounders, and others not so much, but definitely fun! We had a great time just messing around with snacks and drinks and it was one of the funnest Social Circle events I've been too.

Made Some Great Friendships

The only chance I have to go to the cinema is with my son, so it had been a while since I had gotten to see any actual grown-up movies before I joined Social Circle. It's been liberating meeting people in my own age group and I've seen some great movies over the past couple of months. What's even better is that I've made some great friendships, too.

Our most popular cinema meetups in Manchester feature the latest blockbuster. Social Circle takes over the cinema on Wednesday's where movie lovers meet, mingle, and munch popcorn. We often enjoy a drink or two either before or after the movie.

The Reel Deal

The Reel Deal
The aptly named deal features a movie, stonebaked pizza, and drink (a pint, glass of house, wine, or a soft drink) at Home MCR for just £15.50 (at time of writing). On either a Monday or Tuesday, it's a great way to start the week.

Cinema and Meal

Cinema and Meal
Another chance to visit Cineworld Parrs Wood but this time with a meal at G Casino, as part of a special deal. We often take advantage of this deal on a Sunday, or perhaps a Friday evening, combining two great social events in one.
