Did You Miss The Walking Weekend in Wales? Fear Not!

The Wales Walking Weekend went down a treat and as such, hot on the heels is our next one in Snowdonia in March.

If our testimonials from Rob and Catherine are anything to go by, a fantastic time was had and we expect an even better weekend in March with improved weather conditions and the woes of Winter behind us.

With 2 nights en-suite self contained accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 2 picnic lunches, 2 evening meals, and 2 guided walks all inluded in the price, what else could you possibly ask for?

And if you book now, you’ll save with our Early Bird Offer!

But just in case you need a little more convincing, here’s that testimonial from Catherine Walton, who attended our last weekend:

I would recommend this trip to anyone as a great way to spend your weekend!  This was my first event and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was made to feel relaxed from the moment we arrived at the lodge – everyone was really friendly and genuinely interested in meeting new people.  On top of that, the location was beautiful – a definite contrast to the Manchester landscape!  I’m definitely glad I went and will sign up on more Social Circle events for sure.

Earn Money By Recommending Your Friends to Social Circle

Do you find yourself telling your friends about Social Circle? Well we thought it would only be fair to reward you if you do.
Also, if your refer your company,  we are making it even more rewarding for you!

You only have to refer 6 people and if they become members, that’s an entire 6 months membership paid for. 4 more and that’s a year of Social Circle membership free…just for telling your friends what you get up to at the weekend.

By getting your friends on board, it makes events that much more appealing. Of course, they don’t necessarily have to have the same tastes as you. So don’t forget to tell them about the range of events that we do…social events, activities, weekends away, and group holidays.

So all you have to do is encourage your friends and colleagues to get social and active and you shall be rewarded for doing so. Not bad eh?

What Will You Do This Year?

  1. Well we know what WE’RE doing.Rather than trying to break the habit of putting on more and more great events, we’ll be putting on…well, more and more great events.

But what will YOU do this year?

Will you try to get fit? Well, it’s a lot harder if you’re too busy staying in enjoying a tub of ice cream.

You need to get out and about and meet some great new, like-minded people in the process.

And of course, you can always take part in our Activities and Weekends Away which will further increase your fitness level whilst not losing any of the socialising factor.

So don’t make this another year when your New Years Resolutions go flying out of the window.

Look back over the last year and think what you could and would like to have done. And make 2010 the year when you DO IT!!

Merry Christmas from Social Circle

We hope the season’s goodwill and festivities are treating you well and that you’re enjoying the yuletide period. It’s a White Christmas and so there is no excuse for your garden not to have a snowman with all the trimmings :)

If you’ve only been to the odd event this year then make this the time when you promise yourself to get off your ass and get out there and meet some new people.

Sometimes at Christmas, we get into the spirit of things and are more in the frame of mind to meet new people and be active. Well, why not take that attitude and adopt it for the upcoming year.

Whether you want to meet like-minded professionals or would like to pursue some activities, even if it’s just one event on the calendar that takes your fancy, then book now. Don’t think about it. Like Nike say…just do it!

If you want to meet some new people, try the Didsbury Monthly Gathering or our Monthly Pub Crawl. If you want to try something a little more active, how about Jive Dancing, or even an adventure  holiday to Everest. Now, you can’t say we don’t spoil you for choice.

What Would You Like Us To Email You?

We’re stepping up our email campaigns but if course, we want our content to be the top priority.

So what we want to know is; what would you like us to keep you updated with?

We’ll be keeping you posted of our latest and upcoming events and special offers but what in particular would you like to see from us when you open up your latest Social Circle email? What kinds of events would you like to be kept up-to-date on? What sections of the Website would you like to be informed of when updated? Gallery? Videos?

Let us know on email@social-circle.co.uk.

And have a great Xmas and New Year!

Suggest An Event For Our Next Year’s Calendar

Many times when a host is at an event, a member or a guest will give us a great idea for our calendar. But before putting it on there, we really need to take a few things into consideration. One of those things is whether enough people will be interested. So we’re asking people to suggest an event for us so we can see which are the most popular. And those that are, we’ll get on the calendar. Even if we here a single great idea if we think it’s just mad enough to put on, we’ll do it.

It doesn’t matter how big or small and be as creative as you like. Whether it’s Social, an Activity, a Weekend Away or a Group Holiday,  let your imagination run wild.

So suggest an event now and make our calendar yours for 2010!

They play a fantastic range of music which includes all the favourite Hollywood classics and a Rat Pack session with a style and a brand of musicanship rarely seen on stage these days. George will be bringing the golden flute  his brother James recorded the famous Annie song with and will be demonstrating his prowess on the flute, clarinet and and saxophone. Pat will sing many of the Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis classics together with a few Jack Jones famous pieces…and lots more. The night will finish up with the Danny Murphy show to bring in the New Year.
