Manchester Nightlife is Alive and Well With Events and Venues Galore
Manchester nightlife has long held its well-deserved reputation. Bodies come from all over the North West come to visit such venues as The Printworks and Deansgate Locks.
But what is it that makes Manchester nightlife so unique? More cosmopolitan in recent years, the city remains never too far from its roots, steeped in a tradition of live music and legendary venues.
Famed for its WAG culture with Manchester United and now also Manchester City being two of the most prestigious football clubs in the country adds an element of celebrity.
The history of Manchester nightlife is as rich as it is diverse with landmarks such as The Hacienda reminding us of glorious sounds of yesteryear.
No matter what you look for in Manchester nightlife, there will be something that will appeal. If its rock, Oxford Road is for you, with Jilly’s Rock World leading the way. With the smooth sound of Motown and Northern Funk, the city’s long-running night Funkademia serves up a treat to quench the hunger of soul revellers.
The Gay Village and The Northern Quarter are also two of the more popular areas of Manchester nightlife with the latter continuing to thrive by the second, adding new additions to its increasingly impressive portfolio of bars and restaurants.
