How do I get in contact with you?

May I come on my own? I Don’t Want To Be The Only One.

Many attendees arrive to our events on their own and all are in the same boat.

The main reason Social Circle exists is to bring like-minded people together. They just want to meet new people and have fun.

Usually guests are mingling within seconds and wonder why they hadn’t tried an event before.

I'm not sure if I fit into the right age bracket?

Generally our age range is from early 20s to late 40s although we have no restriction in upper age level. Anyone from 18-80 is welcome.

With the range of events that we have, there will always be something for you. We have events which tend to attract a younger crowd and the same for older people.

The best thing to do is to take a look at our gallery and you’ll get a far better idea of who attends our events.

Do I need to become a member?

No, not at all. Membership is only an option that is designed to save guests money. You may come and go as you please and there's not a single event on the calendar where membership is a requirement

I’m a bit nervous; will someone meet me before the event?

You're not alone. This is one of our more common concerns. Realising that, we make this an option for all first-time attendees.

The main responsibility of our friendly hosts is to ensure that attendees feel comfortable and at ease with the night. They'll help you where they can and if you feel that the night is not for you; of course, you are feel to leave at any time.

Do I have to pay or is this a community group?

We're a fully-fledged Web business and as such, incur costs e.g. staff etc. You just need to take a look at our busy calendar to see to see the huge range of events we have on offer and organising these events is very much a full-time activity.

We do try to keep costs down however and we recently introduced our membership package which allows members to save on each and every event.

I live outside of Manchester. Is it for me?

Many who attend our events come from all over Manchester as well as surrounding areas such as Knutsford and Warrington.

Whether you’re from Didsbury or Liverpool, as long as you’re wanting to meet people and socialise, we’ll be happy to see you.

What’s the best event to start with?

One of our social events are a good way to start, such as Friday Night Drinks or a midweek meal. You'll get to find out, at very little cost, what kind of people attend and to pose questions to the host about any other events you may be interested in. You’ll also be able to ask questions about Social Circle in general.

May I try an event first?

Certainly. One you've signed up to the mailing list, as long as you haven't previously attended an event, you'll be entitled to a free event to find out for yourself whether it's for you or not.

Why do people attend Social Circle?

Main reasons include:

• being new to the area
• friends being coupled up or married off
• busy professionals who don't have time to meet people

Some already have an extensive social network but love meeting new people.

Who are your members?

They tend to be busy professionals who are wanting to expand their social circle. They’re from all over Manchester and surrounding areas and from all walks of life, with one common aim; to meet new people and have a good time.

How do I book on to an event?

We’ve made it as simple as we possibly could. If you can send an email, you can book on to one of our events.

Simply view the events page, click on your desired event, and follow the instructions.

How will I find you at the venue?

Our host will have a Social Circle flyer in his/her hand and when applicable, on the table.

You will be provided with the host’s phone no. prior to the event so if there are any problems, contact the host and they will help you.

I've registered as a member but I can't login?

No problem. Drop us an email and we’ll instruct you on what to do.

I've forgotten my password?

There’s a forgotten password link wherever on the site you’re prompted to login so simply fill in the requested information and your password will be sent to the email address you registered with.

I forgot to ask a fellow guest for their contact details? Will you give them to me?

Due to the Data Protection Act, we are not allowed to divulge any information given to us by either our guests or members. It's suggested that if you feel you would like to get to know someone after an event that you speak to them on the night.
